I am a fashion enthusiast and I love buying new clothes ( good for me, bad for my wallet). But even though I enjoy trying new things I got some items in my wardrobe that I really can’t do without and that are really worth investing in. My first item is a black leather jacket I got at Zara (it’s faux leather of course) and it’s one of my favourite pieces of clothing as it consists of a really comfortable material and as it’s very easy to combine – you can combine it with tight jeans and a top and… View Post

I actually can’t believe that summer is about to begin – this spring has passed unbelievably fast and when I’m looking out of my window I feel like we’re just skipping summer and heading straight to autumn this year. However, I’m really excited for summer this year, even though I’ll be working most of the time. Summer is a great season and it offers lots of great things you can do with friends or just by yourself. I’ve created a list of things I’d love to do this summer, maybe this will give you some inspiration or just a really… View Post

My favourite thing to collect are definitely lipsticks, dark red lipsticks to be specific. They are amazing for a night out and a dramatic makeup look but I also like to wear them during the day as they look very elegant and classy. Moreover I like to wear them throughout the entire year because they go well with pretty much every outfit and style. It’s not that easy to find a beautiful dark red lipstick though, they often look amazing on the shelf but when you try them out they disappoint you and suddenly appear rather pink or purple (doesn’t… View Post

As you might know I recently came back from Cape Town and the city has definitely conquered a special place in my heart. One of the things I love most about Cape Town is the huge range of exceptional cafés and restaurants – you can find anything from tiny retro cafés to Chinese restaurants or posh restaurants near the harbour. I personally love places that have a special touch to them and that offer food that cannot be found everywhere. So here are my favourite places to go to when you’re hungry and wish for a special dining or breakfast… View Post

Skin care might not be the most exciting thing but it’s actually very important. Using the products that are right for your skin makes such a huge difference that it is really worth it to experiment and to find the products that improve your skin. Finding the right products isn’t easy though, at least it wasn’t for me. When I was younger I had problems with my skin and thus went to see a dermatologist who pretty much told me that there was nothing I could do and that my problems were caused by the dryness of my skin. Studying for my finals was certainly a stressful experience. But I’ve also learnt a lot of things on my way and decided to share them with you – so here are some tips on how to make studying a lot easier, I hope you’ll find them helpful: 1. Preparation is everything. Make sure you got the right material to revise, that makes it so much easier. There are great books which help you study for exams and which summarise everything you need to know. I really liked to get interpretation books if I had to study for an exam about… View Post

I love trying out new drugstore products – sometimes they might be even better than high-end products and if they disappoint you, then at least you didn’t spend too much money on them. I have already done a blog post about my favourite drugstore products, I’m going to link it down below. So here are my current favourite drugstore products, enjoy reading. x  1. The Duo-Rouge Powder by Rival de Loop I have already mentioned this product in another blog post – it is a beautiful blush that consists of a lighter and a darker pink shade. I really like… View Post

Last weekend I went on a short trip to the Baltic Sea with a friend and her family. We had a great time and came back feeling relaxed and refreshed – sometimes a bit of peace and quiet really is all you need.  We spent our time taking longs walks through the nature and relaxing at one of the beaches. On Saturday we visited a local market and I picked up some bits and bobs for decorating my room. Another thing I did was taking plenty of pictures, I’ll put them down below for you. All in all I had… View Post

I decided to give myself a break yesterday. A break from everything that’s going on, a break from planning my future, a break from my life. I feel like it is really important to take these breaks and to allow your mind to rest for a bit. Especially when you’re confused or when you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed with things – giving your mind a break will help you refocus and revalue what is currently happening. What I like to do is make myself a cup of tea and light some candles. My favourite ones are my Rose Petal &… View Post

I’m really happy that the weather is finally getting better and I’m trying to spend a lot of time outside. One of my favourite things to do is to grab a good book and sit outside in the garden to read for a bit. So if you’re searching for a good book to read, this post might give you some inspiration. x 1. The Secret of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen Jessica Sorensen is probably my favourite author – I really like her style of writing, the intensity of her stories and the topics she touches on.… View Post
